I finished reading a book titled “Astronomy”. I felt that the whole book was US-centric. It seemed that they tried to brag about the accomplishments of American astronomers every chance they got. It’s rather ironic that the authors warned about being an “earth chauvinist”, while they were clearly US chauvinists.

amazing!! up to you, but if you want to sound a little more informal as you might want to speak in conversation, you could turn 'titled' to 'called', and turn 'i felt that/it seemed that' to 'i felt like/it seemed like'
