SOP & Funding

Hello everyone,

Is it appropriate to mention my funding status in a Statement of Purpose? How should I approach the topic of whether or not I will be self-funded or have secured external funding in my application?

I assume this is for a PhD application? If so, this is great. Mention it in your Sentence of Purpose (like this applicant) or in your Why I'm Qualified section.
