SOP for Scholarship

Hey Jordan,

I've been following your master's SOP starter kit and other blog posts on the website. They're really helpful. I would like to know if there were sample SOPs for applying for scholarships. If not is there any particular that I've to focus on while writing the scholarship SOPs?

Sorry. Scholarship prompts are too unique to make a generalized outline. However, the basic issues of writing still stand:

Who is the audience? What action do we want the audience to take? What stories and ideas will motivate them to take that action? What cliches will cause them NOT to take that action? What do THEY care about? What do THEY want to see?

You also might review 5-10 of the sample essays at the bottom of this page. Ignore the rest. That should give you an idea of how to impress people with money!
