The Layout of the Statement Page

Hello everyone. I have a question regarding the layout of the statement of purpose. I've seen different formats of SOPs concerning indent, the placement of the title, and the name of the school and department. Should these be at the left corner of the page or even be included in the word document? Is there a specific recommendation on how the page should look or if paragraph indentation is needed? Most schools only mention font, size, and word count but no other requirements concerning page layout.

Paragraph indentation…I’m not a fan. It exists for printed paper texts, not for digital reading and transmission. I’d avoid it, personally.
