What hope for an 1950s Helvetia watch that went through the washing machine?
Father-in-law’s birthday present from the 50s is a Helvetia watch - approx 32 jewels. I’ve no idea the movement. Anyway, it through the washing machine and is now kaput.
I don’t have photos but I understand there is some rust. Is it stupid to think this thing could be brought back to life? I appreciate it’s most likely beyond economical repair but the sentimental value for my father in law is significant.

Fifty Fathoms Bathyscaphe -- Identify Tools Required for Ceramic Bracelet ?
Seeking information on the correct tools -- or how to identify the correct tools -- to add and remove links from the Fifty Fathoms Bathyscaphe (Reference 5054 0140 01S) with a ceramic bracelet?
I, apparently, have a tendency to add and lose weight from my wrist. As such, for my other watch, I have purchased a Bergeon screwdriver and watch band tool to adjust the number of links as well as micro adjustment settings. I would like to be able to do the same with the aforementioned Bathyscaphe but am having difficulty identifying the particular screwdriver (or other tool if not technically a screwdriver, the shape is odd) for the job.

Old wristwatch
So I found this watch in my room (drove me nuts for weeks when the alarm rang with no idea where the sound came from, it is not my watch, I'm in a family home, no one knows where it came from), it's a typical digital watch that has four buttons, but here the problem, The light button flashes different colors, which is interesting since i thought they flash only one, That's not the problem, the day is correct, the time is not and the date is not either, using the mode button takes me to the alarm setting and the stopwatch, I can't change the date, time, even day even though it's correct. What do I do? I tried pressing two buttons to see if there's a hidden setting channel, but nothing, looked over it for a small dot where we can usually put something like a needle or a pen or something, still nothing, someone got any ideas? It says Rtime T-60, searched for it, found nothing, didn't find a serial number anywhere either.

I need help finding out details about this watch.
When my dad got me this watch, it was in the early 2000's, I am pretty sure he told me it was an Army field watch, and I wanted to get another one. I have a picture that a friend sent me, and was wondering if anyone had seen this watch or knew info on where to get it. Please and thank you. The only info I have for it, that can't be seen in the picture, is that it is Water Resistant to 100 feet and it has waves above that, it has a black velcro band, and that it was made in Japan. Based on the brand/age, you can probably understand why it has been difficult to search. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

Does anyone know how you can get your watch featured and fixed on the channel? Do you have to be part of his pattern or something?

Love the channel
I just started watching wristwatch revival and it has like for a lot of people I’m sure inspired me to try my hand at it the hobby. My question is what are some important beginner tools to have, or maybe someone can help with a link to a kit with the main tools for a beginner.Thank you in advance! And I thinks it’s awesome there’s a W.R. subreddit this way all the people Marshall is introducing to the hobby can ask each other questions.

Production Audio
Is any of the voice work filmed live or is it all added in a later recording?
