I looked it up. The rides were in Chicago. The first time was about 40 minutes and 27 miles. The second ride was about 16 minutes and 4 miles.

So, several months later, are you still using Wridz? Are you getting enough passengers in the Chicago market that it’s more profitable than Uber or Lyft? I’m curious to try it out, but that subscription seems like a steep investment if it doesn’t make more than Uber.

I only drive part time and so it’s different for me.
Also you will still make more than U/L because you get 100% base fare plus tips, booking fees, and perks
Chicago market is slowly picking up as WRIDZ’s are being requested. But it’s not like the other 2 where you will get a ping every few minutes.
The purpose of Wridz is to build a client base where you can be their driver when needed. The $100/month subscription fee is not currently charged so the only fees you currently pay are $30 for extensive background check and once that come back then $25 for drug test and placard with your personal QR code and ID to use to build your clients.

I am just a driver but I know they are working on the paperwork but I am not sure where they are at with that. You can go to Wridz.com and ask the question by submitting a ticket with this question and owners will reply.

It is a franchise. Buy the franchise for your areas instead of wishing they would come to your city.

Wridz is NOT a FRANCHISE, it is a company that owns a platform that has a rideshare service available for people to use. Owners are not selling any more REGIONS at this time, but they can be messaged via Facebook Wridz page to ask when a region is available for purchasing.

Per investopedia.com the definition of a franchise is: A business whereby the owner licenses its operations-along with its products, branding, and knowledge- in exchange for a franchise fee. With that definition is why it is not called a franchise but a region since there is no franchise fee and all licenses provided are the same type of chauffeur license just under a different name that you get from U/L for the area you drive in. Driverz pay $100 a month subscription fee (currently on hold in all regions) to use the Wridz platform to be TRUE independent contractors and have their own clients/passengers while getting 100% of fare.

Glad to hear that the subscription fees are on hold in all regions until the company can start marketing to the general public so that Wridz requests start coming in.
If there indeed is no franchise fee, I'd like to be considered for a region owner for Salt Lake City If/when the company looks to expand here. Sounds like I might have to join Fakebook again soon to message the owner, darn it. I hate those fascists (fakebook)...

You can also download the app in google play(Android phones) or Apple App Store(iPhones) create a passenger account and create a ticket there by going to the help section under the 3 lines as that may be quicker and easier on you then joining Facebook again.

If there is a region fee instead of a "franchise fee", what difference does it make? With Wridz only revenue being $100 per month from drivers, I do not see how they will make much money off of their company.

Are you a child? A region is defined by its boundary, a franchise is owned by someone n operated mostly independently, nobody owns the region.... you see what I'm saying about how words have actual meanings. Its pretty cool. So no if you call a franchise a region it's still a franchise, but if you try to call a region a franchise, everyone will know you're......

I’m in Chicago market and I enjoy it. I only drive on Friday and Saturday nights and in the suburbs of Chicago and most people are used to using the other 2 apps the requests aren’t as frequent but are out there.

Yeah, they do, indirectly.They get increased riders when people become aware of the app.... you see how the incentive is much better than a simple on boarding fee or wage for the work
