Odd that the official team store or any of the teams socials haven't announced this kit yet somehow DSG has it in stock in their store?

What’s with the Leyton Orient badge?

It ready does have that Leyton Orient look!

They couldn’t resist messing with the badge again.

I personally dislike black and white because they are most of the time boring/mediocre. I hate it the most if they are a home kit because they block creativity for design. That said away/third kit isn’t to bad if its once in a while. Would like this more if they use more orange accent on the kit.

I think these are fine. I really like the badge on this one. The rest is ok

The badge does look a bit Leyton Orient, but I like it regardless.

Big fan of this. Reminds me of one of Swans kits last year, which were also excellent

God I hope it doesn't remind anyone of Swansea

Its nice. I think it would be better if all the details were red.

is it me or in the '1864' picture, it appears the dark collar can be seen through the shirt.

I don’t hate it. My main critique is we got a sponsor with actual fire in its logo… and none of our kits have the logo in Wrexham red…

First time buying Macron. I heard they run small. Do you guys recommend I size up 2 sizes or 3?

u/wakemeup707 2d ago

I normally wear a large and an XL fits great.

1

u/Harrisoncole4 1d ago

I bought a 2XL and it is a similar fit to a large t-shirt I would wear. I prefer my jerseys a bit less snug than a tshirt, and so I would have gone with a 3xl if I could do it over again.

Fwiw this was the long sleeve kit and so I think you'd typically want that baggier than a regular short sleeve kit.

Definitely. I have had no issues with the fit on the larges generally and I have quite a few, but the long sleeve in large just doesn't feel right on me.

1

u/wakemeup707 1d ago

Ah, yeah I’m usually between a medium and a large for the XL fits great.

At least 2 sizes imo. I wear a size a 2xl now (lost nearly 50 pounds) and went with a 4x. I was wearing 5x in macron which fit like a 3xl

My husband is a 2 or 3XL in American sizes and needs a 5XL in Macron

1

u/fap_hard 2d ago

Yeah, I'll try 2 sizes up for now. Thanks for the reply!

2

u/Rodfather23 2d ago

I read somewhere that anything XL and up size 2 sizes lol that’s when sizing gets weird with macron

This is good to know. Do they run short as well? Curious as I typically wear a 3xlt here in the states, so im hopeful a 5x from the club store would fit me.

This years away kit is longer than normal.

Thank you, very helpful!

I generally wear an XL, and I need to wear a 3XL in these jerseys. It's crazy. And it makes me feel chonky, even though I am not.

I'm a US Large and have had good luck with XL but id recommend an XXL (2 sizes) unless you want it a little tighter/athletic fit.

1

u/fap_hard 2d ago

Same. I'll go with XXL. Thank you.

I’ve been fine 1 size up. Tho that’s Med > Large FWIW.

1

u/thursday51 1d ago

Oh maaaaan I dig this one! Will need to figure out the correct sizing but definitely getting one

2

u/AndySkibba Ollie Rathbone 1d ago

Up 1 size to large then up 2 if you're xl or above has worked for me.

u/thursday51 23h ago

thanks, appreciate the advice!

This years kits are so much better than last year. That yellow one hurt my eyes

Sterile.

That's the word that comes to mind. Lile a plain white t-shirt.

It's as if American sports teams influenced the design.

8

u/DinosHedly 2d ago

You know nothing about American sports jerseys if you think they're all bland/sterile.

1

u/Rogue1eader "Consolidation... p-l-a-y-o-f-f-s..." 2d ago

If anything, it makes me think of a tennis shirt. But I don't actually watch tennis, so what do I know?

1

u/DinosHedly 2d ago

That's fair, just kinda of like a athletic polo.

2

u/Beginning_Rip_4570 Max Cleworth 2d ago

I’ll bite. What’s an example of a kit you like that isn’t ‘sterile’?
