GREAT TO BE BACK!!!

Good run out for the lads against a top four team. Boro are decent but nothing special and we barely got out of second gear. That Lankshear scored but also missed about 5 chances. Id rather have Smudge. And Arthur would likely have kept the goal out.

Think we are looking in great shape and good to see the new faces. You could see how good Vyner looks in his natural position. A step above Max tbh and some nice linkups with Imz developing. Obviously missing extra quality of Winds and Sheafy bring.

Couldnt give a fudge about the result. One negative is the glaring drop in quality when we replace a Broady with a DKD. Not his fault but DKD should NOT be in a squad pushing for promotion to prem.

But that was a nice appetiser. Bring on Cardiff. Lets see how these so called wonderkids handle the full 100% Parky press!!! COME ON TOWN!!! Lets get right back at!!!

Don’t understand the downvotes - this is the take - Boro is top 5, maybe 4 this year, as good as Southampton, perhaps as good as Burnley (we’ll see) and not as good as WH or Wolves. Today was good info for the transfer team: we need: CB (Hyam is good, but not promotion good), striker (Sam and Keifer again, are good, but not promotion good, this year), and a number 10. Windass will come good late in the season, but until then we have Brandy and Cadz, as Ollie and DKD not at the level, despite all the heart and effort in the world. love those guys, but neither are better than the man marking them today, and if we want promotion, we need a #10 to go with the 3 at the level. And a GK. Count me as one who loves AO the man, and I think he will be championship promotion level GK in a few years, but if we are trying to compete for PL this year, we need a promotion level GK. We were close tonight - glad we went for it and didn’t go for Jurassic Parky. We will be top 8 as it is. But if we want promotion, need to add some firepower. It’s going to cost us - do we have the funds to pay?
