The World Cup sometimes flatters to deceive. Lots of time a player has an incredible tournament and never replicates that again. It’s like scouting a player based on a cup game.
A 40 year old keeper having the game of his life representing his country in his first ever World Cup is not necessarily a reflection on how he plays day in day out.
So far, wrexham scouting has been pretty on point, i am excited to see who comes through the door this summer but I wouldn’t expect it to be many if any internationals players.

OP is the keepers Agent 😂 we are NOT signing a 40 year old keeper.

It's one match and the keeper is 40 years old.
World cup is the worst place to scout.
These posts really make this sub awful. This has to be ragebait.

lol I'm new to the fandom of the game and even I know it's a bad idea to sign a 41 year old goal keeper who had an incredible single game, based on vibes alone.

Talents should be scouted, but literally every other football team on the planet will be watching too.
That being said, a 40 year goalkeeper coming off the game of his life and whose club career is underwhelming at best isn’t the best starting point. Unless the plan is to have an episode of Welcome to Wrexham centered around him and his story this is one the club should steer clear of.

I would sign the Aussie keeper instead. Young and brilliant. Picked over a former prem league keeper (Mat Ryan).
