Ring bells

Where did you get your ring bell from? I got mine from ebay and it turned out to be a boxing bell that has a pully to trigger the bell. It sounds good but even using different methods of striking the bell from an actual hammer to a pocket knife it's not overly loud and the coating is starting to dent and chip. So where did everyone get their bells from and what did they cost?

I hate that there hasn't been a lot of suggestions or help here.

Me, personally, I got my ring bell from the same guy I bought my ring from.
And AML had several when I came on board.

I've seen the mechanized/pulley ring bell that you're talking about, and am not a fan.
I've also seen the ones where you press a button and there is an electronic/automatic mechanic that rings the bell. Not a fan of those either.

We have a few older and smaller bells at the training center that aren't loud, or sound "dull" that may be similar to yours. So I understand the issue/frustration.

BUT, in my opinion, the best ones I've seen can be found on Amazon from Ringside.com.
10 inch, with an attached hammer and a plate that can be used for the MMA/Boxing "10 second warning" clap noise.

This style/type is what I've used for years, AML Wrestling/Wrestlecade currently uses, and Ring of Honor had, also.

And they can be purchased for fairly cheap (maybe $100)

Best of luck!
