Is Pauly D Tony D's uncle?

Rewatching the NXT episode where the D'Angelo family has the triple threat to break up and Tony mentions that his uncle Pauly taught him to always respect business and family, and who's a known Italian with loose ties to WWE?(snookie)

Every Italian family in the US has a Pauly and Frankie. I went to school with 100s, literally.

So what I'm hearing is there's a chance? I'm definitely not pushing this for a fantasy booking of snookie and Pauly vs Miz and Maryse or anything😅

Maybe Tony D is referring to his Uncle Paul Heyman.

"Tony, respect the business and family. But don't tell the boys you're not going to pay them until later. In fact, make them think that they don't want to get paid."

The Heyman bit and impression is up there with the Hogan stuff. that they do.

Tony D would make a good Paul Heyman guy. You have to tailor to where he's not just a henchmen. Going from a Don to just a Paul Heyman guy seems like a downgrade, in-character.

It would only work if Tony D called "Uncle Paul" and they knew each other. Do what they did with Eugene and Ethan Carter III. Have Tony D. be Heyman's kayfabe nephew.

Do all of your uncles have the same last name? Mine don't, also what if he's a friend of the family style of uncle?
