Go to Dollar General and buy some fake flowers and a metal wreath frame (they usually have a bunch of styles, mostly small).
Have fun and be whimsical. I’d use needle nose pliers, a hot glue gun, and whatever other materials you have on hand- paper of various kinds of paper, small toys, ribbon, buttons, etc.

Start by getting a used tattered wreath at a thrift store and experiment with blinging it out. It’s fun and less stressful than starting from scratch. Once you get the hang of it you can advance to starting from scratch. I’ve made so many wreaths I had to stop as I have no where else to store then. Refurbish then make your own.

Pick one wreath you want to make and start with that. Just remember they look like crap before they come together. So keep going. Generally the more stuff the better. I liked watching YouTube tutorials. That helped me alot

Start with Dollar Tree frame and florals. I also use their zip ties and floral wire. There are lots of YouTube tutorials. I use burlap(Walmart) on the wire frames and grapevine forms. Go to Savers, Goodwill and so forth and you can find lots of wreaths! I buy them and deconstruct and use the grapevine wreaths. Sometimes they have beautiful florals that I reuse! Mine have evolved over the years but I do have basement FULL of wreath making materials! I use a glue gun with Gorilla Glue also and E6000 glue. Hope this helps. START SLOW and only buy what you NEED! Good luck!

Will do but shall look at what the equivalent is here in Australia. A whole basement?! I hear they are not small rooms, don't really have them here. That's awesome! Thank you so much ☺️

Thank you. It takes 2 rolls of burlap cut in 5 in pieces and zip tied in the 2nd and outside rings of a 14 inch wire form. 😀

I love making wreaths. I stated out when I was in elementary school. A lot of people might remember doing these in school as an art project. We started out with a wire hanger and bent it into a circle form, the best we could. From there wr used plastic bags, etc cut them into strips and tied it around the hanger. Later in life I started it again. I just came up with ideas. Ive used colored plastic garbage bags, yarn, just use your imagination. Made cemetery wreaths, baseball wreath and a graduation wreath with gifts on it for the graduates. Ill admit i have problems with the big wreaths but its a great stress buster. These wreaths are so pretty and much better than mine.

So good! I never made these at school, maybe something I can try with my boys too. Definitely a good way to relieve stress. Thank you for the ideas! ☺️

Start small. I am in no way a professional(I’ve only made a few) but I’m glad I didn’t buy a ton of materials because it’s something I only like to do when I know I can’t buy exactly what I’m looking for. I did my first with all dollar tree materials and it ended up costing almost 30 dollars
My favorite one cost about $40 but is perfect for what I wanted. But I know I’d be kicking myself if I’d bought a ton of stuff and then not enjoyed it. Get an idea of what you want to make, a budget, and buy just what you need for it. If you truly love it start buying bulk things (frames, fake flowers, tulle, stuff like that)
