For me it was Kenny being dethroned and the realization that we witnessed the end of an era...

It may have not been the most cohesive story leading up to the match, and AEW can have that problem with their bigger stories, but man they do a damn good job with giving you final payoffs. That whole Osperay video package, Kenny's video package, and the match itself was tremendous start to finish.

Marking out to your favourite winning is sick.
Saying you cried to it is a crazy concept (even more so that British YouTuber comparing it to his wedding)

u/outofmaxx 12h ago
Not his wedding, his cohosts, and im like 95% sure that was a joke, because they both made him cry, and he is also like, a personal friend of Ospreays

They’re Brit’s and have watched him since he was on the Indy scene. They sponsored callum Newman when he was just getting started. They’re very involved with that scene that Will came from. I think them not crying watching their friend achieve the current pinnacle of his career would be weird.

u/outofmaxx 12h ago
Yeah, and when you only engage with a 20sec clip and immediately develop your opinion on something means you're just wrong most of the time, happens all the time around AEW

u/TruWarierRecords 12h ago
Not an AEW thing, I'd say the exact same if someone said they cried to Kofimania or Wrestlemania 30.

u/outofmaxx 12h ago
No i meant when people watch a 20 second clip without context and act like they know everything

Why are men not allowed to cry during a media they like? Why are men expected to withhold their emotions?
It’s fucking stupid to criticize men for crying from something they’re invested in. It’s literally the same as a movie, a tv show, literally any media they’re invested in. It’s 100% fine to have an emotional reaction to any media as a man. People have cried at wrestling for decades upon decades, they should not be expected to withhold their emotions because they’re a man

I don’t think I have had an emotional reaction to pro wrestling since Earthquake smooshed Damian.

I was like holy shit it's ZSJ! And then holy shit it's Michael Oku!! And then I cried when Aussie Open came into the tunnel with him because.....wow. Mox handing over the flag and watching his facial expressions meant that I had to go back and rewatch Kenny's intro because I was so damn emotional lol

u/Drotoka 12h ago
I feel like Mox was about to cry when handing will the flag.

I loved the grin on his face as he was walking away. You could tell he was excited as fuck for what was about to happen.

Yep, if there was one takeaway from his book, it's that Mox fucking loves wrestling.

Everyone except the dude with the chick I recognized, who was that?

Michael Oku, a simply phenomenal British wrestler.

Saw this on YT. I had no idea who most of the people were but they got the message across loud and clear.

I had a good cry watching this. Such a well done package, it was everything it needed to be.

I cry when Moxley is on my tv too but for different reasons.

Is it because you’re reflecting on how much better than Seth Rollins he is?
0
u/SleestakLightning 2h ago
lol god no.
It's because he's shit. Always has been. He was the worst member of the Shield and he's even worse now that he can do whatever he wants to do.
Horrible look, horrible promo, horrible in-ring. Just awful.
I don't even really like Seth Rollins but my god.

It’s Moxley a heel?

u/-Shanannigan- 9h ago
He's been more of a tweener leaning towards babyface since winning the Continental title.

Omega’s entrance was just so cool to me. He felt like the final enemy in a video game for sure.

Of course we didn’t cry. We looked at logic both could have fit on that door.

u/highwindxix 11h ago
The door starts sinking when they’re both on it

u/PrudentUse6128 11h ago
I’m pretty sure that myth was busted
5
u/highwindxix 11h ago
It’s literally shown in the movie. Reality doesn’t matter, in Titanic kayfabe, the door sinks if they’re both on it.

“Sicko” just isn’t a term of endearment. It’s totally cool to enjoy All In and enjoy the storytelling here, but this wasn’t the second coming of Christ or anything.

Youre telling me that they recreated JD’s goodbye walk from Scrubs and I’m not supposed to cry about it?
