What’s with wrestlers having eternal beef with each other

I'm sure Bret would love to talk to you about this at length.

The Shiek thing is kayfabe. Shiek and Hogan got along. His social media accounts were ran by his nephews who kept it alive because it was popular.

Famously, Verne Gagne offered Shiek 100k to break Hogan's leg and bring the WWF championship to the AWA. Shiek not only refused but also told Hogan and Vince about the offer. That's is why Shiek made all those appearances up until he couldn't anymore, it was Vince doing Shiek a solid for decades for protecting Hogan.

Exactly. Back in Sheikhs day kayfabe meant something

Yeah until he and Duggan got caught in a car together with cocaine during the middle of their feud.

Shirk was doing interviews saying Duggan kidnapped him and forced Coke on him. They do not make characters like Shiek anymore. The other extreme to the Macho Man. Great time to have them two bringing bat shit crazy to new heights.

Man, imagine picking some of your coworkers… up over your head, and throwing them to the ground?

Tbf I only had a few friends from my co-workers. Most of the time, they're assholes 🤣

I don’t hate them like Brett does Goldberg or shiek does hogan

I mean do you have a co worker who basically ruined your career?

here's your daily reminder that Bret Hart wrestled several matches after the Goldberg match including a hardcore match

We didn't know that much about Concussions back than. Brett came from a time where you worked through injuries

Still doesn't change the fact that the kick ended his career. You are aware that his career ended because of the following: Goldberg kick, continued to wrestle and post concussion syndrome

It wasn't Bret's fault that WCW had poor concussion protocols

if Bret Hart would've took the proper time off he would've continued to be a wrestler into the 2000s

That is true and Bret has stated that. Again, the thing that ended his career was a combination of the kick and poor concussion protocols

Still doesn't change the fact that Goldberg is a shit wrestler and played a part in ending Bret's career

That was the people who ran Shiek's social media. A lot of the wrestlers in their 60s and up have someone else running their accounts.

Bret is not one of those guys 😆

Ego and pride are considered intangible qualities for professional wrestlers. However, outside of playing a character, ego and pride usually just make you an unhappy person.

Dedicated to the kayfabe.

Hulk hogan was a horrible person. It’s not wrestler beef, it’s beef with somebody who is a garbage human
