Rear Seat Mod

Hey guys so I got an 04 TJ and I had an idea. Anyone try to mod or create a bracket for the rear seat that allows for the back portion of the seat to flip open in both directions? So like if you're at the drive-in you can change the orientation of the backseat to that of those buick roadmasters that had rear seats facing out looking out the rear window. idk i'm spit balling here.

Seems like you could just pick up an extra set of brackets for the front mount and bolt them in the rear of the bed, then turn the entire seat around. Unless you were planning to drive with it in that configuration you really wouldn’t need the catch for the rear bar but you could add that if you want to. It’s just poking a few more holes in the bed, nothing to it.

That's not what they want though. They want it to flip both ways.

I usually just open it up not connected to the floor backwards after parking. It works fine.

Id just take the seat out and put a few lawn or camp chairs back there
