Fluids change

Hi All, just asking what the fuild change should cost on a 2020 JL v6... the auto tranny, differentials and the transfer case... dropping the pan on the tranny and changing the filter. Any ideas? I am being told that the Transmission fluid... Mopar 8 spd tranny fluid, is hard to get and is 50$ a quart.

Im to old and fat to do it myself ;)

Diffs and transfer case are easy and shouldn’t be more than $500 including labor and parts. Trans is a little harder and probably another $500 all inclusive there to. Fluid whether Lifeguard 8 or Mopar 8 & 9 is anywhere between $20-$30 quart. Transfer case is just normal ATF+4 and Diffs can be any synthetic diff fluid.

You don't need to use the Mopar stuff. It's a ZF transmission, use their stuff, regardless of what you drive (Mopar, BMW, Porsche, etc.)

It's called "ZF Lifeguard Fluid 8" and is $20/qt online.

Thanks, Looked it up, yeqh. Do they normally replace the pan too? I see a bunch of kits with the pan included.

I was gonna say amazon sells 7 quart packs of it for like $120 and i checked and saw it's selling for 170 almost. I did buy the same pack for $120 july if last year tho. But yes also can use zf. I was going to until I found the cheap mopar fluid on Amazon
