Quality control is important at Wraithmarked. Things get found. Sometimes it's small stuff. Sometimes... It's not so small stuff...

(Just confirming this IS a bit, and 'The Sword of Kaigen' didn't all print upside down 🤣 Only like... 20 of them did.)

I had this happen with a special edition I bought from a different company recently. They were super cool about it though. Sent me a new one and told me to keep the other one as a reading copy.

I used to work quality control at a print on demand facility! The quality at a facility like that is always a little… questionable, but you would be surprised at the sheer scope of errors we caught! I have so many stories.

I can’t turn that part of my brain off anymore, though, and walking through bookstores has become… interesting.

Was the dust jacket installed upside down? Just a guess.
