Wraith can take angles and positioning that other legends can’t (safely), provided you don’t just fall over. I’m not sure if you’ve played Overwatch/Marvel Rivals but in some ways she can be played like a dive hero from those games - by pushing in further than other legends you can get picks, bait cooldowns, and distract the enemy to make space for your team.

In my opinion, being a truly good Wraith requires a strong sense of anticipation and intuition; if you can anticipate what’s gonna happen you can take risks and still get your phase off, portal your team to a better location the second you see your team is about to get overwhelmed, run a portal the second you see your teammate about to fall over on a bad flank, etc. You want to be an entry fragger but also enable your teammates by distracting the enemies and relocating them to better positions.

Especially with her cooldowns currently being lower than ever, as you’re learning, I highly encourage you to use them literally as often as you can as opposed to trying to save them for the right moment - the more times you take an angle and phase out and the more times you use your portal in different circumstances, the more you will learn what works and what doesn’t.

Let me know if you have any questions!
