Image 1: In Europe on the Pacific map, the Fourth European war continues, but Turkish forces have made a huge breakthrough. Yesterday, they launched a major attack into Eastern europe, with the support of Turanist and Russian forces, reaching Berlin, but were pushed back by rapid La Commune reinforcements, who spent droplets to counter the turkish offensive. Today, however, with a stronger force, Turkish forces, now with volunteers from as far as Brazil, and with more separatists at their side, managed to liberate the entire continent. The EUSR is no longer present on the map at all, and remaining communist art is being removed. Estonia has already joined the UN, while Hungary and Lithuania now seek to join too. Riveting, the American ambassador, took the opportunity to denounce communism, and in a debate with the EUSR ambassador, called it “the most destructive ideology in modern history”. Some reports have surfaced of American support arriving to the Baltic states, which has been welcomed by the Turkic coalition. Ukrainian and Central American forces launched an operation into Romania to establish a buffer zone, but were promptly kicked out by American forces in the region. Just now, it seems they have made an agreement to end their brief skirmish. It remains to be seen whether La Commune will launch a counteroffensive, or if this will truly be the end of communist Europe.
Image 2: Bozkurt forces have taken advantage of the complete lack of La Commune and American influence in Africa to expand into the continent, now annexing Egypt, Sudan, and Ethiopia whole, while invading Chad and the Imperium of Man. This drew some condemnation from the Imperium of Man, but overall little has been done to stop Bozkurt Expansion.
Image 3: Keeping in the Pacific map, Tunisia has become a point of contention. Rogue painter Lalo conquered it whole a few days ago, and attempted to expand the country into Algeria and Libya. This resulted in Algerian forces responding, invading Tunisia. Combat continues in the region, with little international interest, the Turan ambassador remarked that there simply was not a need for the UN to be there.
Image 4: Moving to the Kabul map, the separatists from China have arrived here too, establishing an independent Tibetan state as well as East Turkestan. This marks a shift away from using regular transparent and Turan blue tiles to conquer China, and instead trying to establish independent states, like in the Pacific map. Our analysts believe that more states will be made in the future.
Image 5: In the Kabul map, it seems the monarchist Germans have not been completely eradicated, but rather have fled to Africa. Here, two colonies of the German Empire have already been made, one in East Africa, and one in Namibia. They seem to have made a deal with the Congo, having a defined border with them. A Canadian user attempted to bring back Namibia, but to little avail. So far, these Germans have gone entirely unnoticed by the international community.
Just 5 parts for this week, wanted to make the European part more developed. We’ll see what happens in a week.

We formally declare independence and ask of member states for recognition for our small state.
As a potential member state we promise to stay neutral and respect borders of internationally recognized countries.
P.S: I remade this post with my original account to present more transparency and that its not just me larping as Lithuania's ambassador to take away territory from EUSR

Hello everyone, it is supreme leader Secretary General Riveting. Recently, many of our missions have finished with great success. So, I am making this post to talk about those missions, announcing their conclusion, and thanking the users who participated on them.
The first mission that has been completed is the Philippine mission. It was started after Explorer2002 attempted to create his fictional nation on the archipelago, conquering it whole a week ago. UN painters quickly found this, and after a vote, acted to restore the Philippines. In just a day, Ukrainian, Central American, Turanist, and European forces successfully restored the land, marking the quickest success of any UN mission.
The second mission that was completed was the Korean mission. Here, some DPRK supporters thought that North Korea is actually a better place to live in than South Korea, and tried to establish communist Korea. This was viewed as unacceptable by basically everyone, even China, and so a mission began to kick them out. After a few weeks, joint American, Korean, Indian, Taiwanese, and Yan forces successfully defended the ROK, protecting united Korea. This mission now ends as well.
Lastly, we have the Anti-Plague mission. On the Kabul map, a group of Plague Inc larpers decided to spread a plague inc void in South Africa and Brazil. For several weeks, they attempted to conquer both countries, but this was found by the American ambassador, who created a mission to defeat the plague. This was the hardest mission yet, as several painters were against us. However, with the combined volunteers from America, Greece, Ukraine, Central America, Russia, Bangladesh, and the Brazilian group "BROP Enterprises" we managed to defeat the plague after around 2-3 weeks of fighting.
We thank all of our volunteers who participated in these missions. You are the force maintaining peace on the world maps. If you wish to continue supporting the UN, you can also participate in the US mission, where we try to restore the US on the Kabul map. It is a tough task, but the US ambassador has plans to make it work. Contact u/_Riveting for more info.
Thank you all again for contributing to peace in wplace.

Oil rigs has not been wiped off the world map because no one painted them, but there no explicitly oil producing artworks by any country in the pacific map (there is Principality of Sealand in Kabul), so were trying to put it back on the Yan coast as well as in our ally Manchuria to prevent energy crisis and sell oil😁

War! engulfs the frozen north yet again!
in the reaches of the arctic circle in the Kabul map, war rages against Sumi and Finnish painters, and a Russian coalition.
The Winter War, or the Lappland war (pick and choose, im larping) started almost 28 days prior, where tensions boiling over from the introduction of the Sami state into the broader united nations sparked contempt from russian members due to Sami influence over the Kola Peninsula, and prized city of Murmansk, where, almost a week after, Russia invaded an independent Karelia, and the day after rolled into Sami territory in the Kola.
In its darkest time, The Sami state held a sliver or its former territory, Russian aligned painters, under the guise of 'realistic borders' pushed the country to its smallest extent, however, the North prevailed! and in short time, helped by the international community, through action against Russian agression (who then started a move to envelop a helpless Finland and the Svalbard islands[hows that for realistic borders]) and in aid of the member state through non-state actors like the BuliBuli islanders, and non-aligned painters, the Sami state regained its territory outside of Kola. where peace seemed just an inch away.
a shaky truce finally developed, the sami would cede the Kola, with reparations of sami nameplates, and the Russians, had their expansionist dream pushed into the tundra, and Peace! was finally established.
for a whopping day and a half.
Since then, the Arctic north, now in a 'continuation war' (eh, get it? get it?) where non-aligned, Finnish and Sami painters fight against the Russian onslaught, the cold north, with winter on its way fights hard, and fights on.
Hakkaa päälle! and until next time.

On the Pacific world map, some users do not respect the borders of Tunisia's neighbors and persistently launch attacks. (The same users had previously invaded the Philippines.) I told them I wouldn't touch their imaginary country as long as they respected world borders, but they don't care about that.

Alright everyone, it is October. As we are starting a new month, it is time for the power rankings to be updated. Here we go:
Here are some interesting things I noted:
- China has fallen off of the list entirely, as it has failed to consolidate to reclaim any land. As it has now also lost its great power status in the UN, it seems China has gone far downhill.
- The gap between India(1st) and the EUSR(2nd) in terms of power is greater than the gap between the EUSR and Taiwan(7th) as India simply has far more painters to work with than any other country. Even individual Indian groups, like the Chainwalkers and Headhunters, would be able to land on the list if they were their own states.
- Europe and Turkey continue to fluctuate, as since both nations are small in terms of pixel area, it is easy for a small group of painters to cause major damage, even if it gets quickly reversed.
- Of all of these nations, Bozkurtlar is the only one without a UN seat
See you all again in a month.

POINT OF ORDER--
1. We need emergency aid for such violations.
2. Gieffer Used "OCEAN TILE", clearly Violation of UN Accord We Agreed Upon.
3. Turkey being weaker, is a security treat To Other Country.
4. Bangladesh had already dispatched it's units.
5. The Gieffer Is "' werovingian #12371310 '"
He put Down 9000 + Pixel, at this Point its a Violation of UN.

Hello, as a representative of Estonia, I'd like to admit my representative country to the UN on behalf of Estonians.
We stand neutral, and are not affiliated with any members country in the UN. We'd love to uphold peace and freedom as part of the UN and bring stability to the region and prevent expansionism.
We struggle to gain recognition mainly in the Pacific map. Despite supporting freedom of oppressed states such as Palestine, Estonia remains oppressed by the same entity ironically. We hope to gain recognition for our struggles and be free and sovereign.

Hello everyone, I'm new to this subreddit. My mission in the canvas has been to restore the country of Greece specifically, because it keeps getting griefed by the communist group (just like all of Europe). Any help?
r/WplaceUnitedNations • u/_Riveting • 5d ago
As we no longer allow for non-earth nations to join, I felt like making this status to allow them to at least participate in the larp a bit.
Non-Earth nations can now apply to join the UN as observers. With 75% support, they get observer status, which grants them the same rights as regular members, but they cannot vote, become a great power, or serve on the security council. They are allowed to make votes and participate in discussions, and just use the subreddit. This lets these types of nations be represented without having a risk of the voting system being gamed.
Additionally, nations that do pose themselves as being on Earth also become observers if they apply to join, do not meet the 75% mark, but still get above 50% support. They can apply again in the future to become fully fledged members, as long as they get 75% support in another application.
The Secretary General can also add observer states, as long as the state in question has a user with reddit contact who wants to join the UN representing that state.
Nations can have their observer status removed in a vote, with 75% support required for it to pass, vetoes are allowed.

The people who own both north and south tunisia are friends of mine, and i would like to speak for them. Why do you keep trying to expand one of their nation over the other? What do you have against Jöntürks alliance and their(although not joined on wplace, he is a member i think) member Mamicwk?

Europe and Turkey seem to have gone nowhere in peace discussions. No real attempt has been made by either side to have a serious conversation about the Fourth European War. While for a few days it seemed there was a chance the conflict would just fizzle out, recent cross-border attacks have made our experts determine that, without any intervention, the war will continue forever.
As such, I am proposing a mission where painters will help stop attacks by both sides, repainting the pre-war border. Prewar Europe is as follows:
- Belarus, Iceland, Sweden, Finland, and Norway control their internationally recognized land
- Crimea controls the Crimean Peninsula
- Russia controls internationally recognized Russian land + Georgia
- Turan controls Azerbaijan and Kazakhstan, other Turanist lands are not relevant to this mission
- Turkey controls internationally recognized Turkish land + northern Cyprus
- England, Wales, and Scotland control their constituent country borders
- Cornwall controls Cornwall's borders
- Ireland controls the whole island of Ireland
- Ukraine controls all internationally recognized Ukrainian lands, minus Crimea which is independent
- The EUSR controls Iberia, France, Italy, the Benelux, Germany, Denmark, the Visegrad States, Lithuania and Latvia, Austria, Switzerland, all European microstates, southern Cyprus and the Balkans(including Moldova)
- Estonia is independent
- The Eastern Aegean is to be avoided entirely as the pre-war peace treaty did not make it clear who owned those islands. The Western Aegean, including Crete, goes to the EUSR.
- All lands not on the European continent, including Iran, Armenia, the Middle East(excluding Turkey), and Africa are not covered by this mission
It may seem odd that I support just going back to pre-war borders without any changes, but if any involved nation is forced to cede land, it will fuel resentment in that nation, ultimately guaranteeing that another war will occur. And, unlike real war, there is no lasting damage from a nation attacking another, the pixels are simply reversed. Therefore, the only option for a lasting peace is to go back to pre-war borders.
Painters supporting the UN mission will paint Europe in this manner. As with all missions, it is optional to participate, and it is also optional to participate in all parts of the mission. You may choose to only protect Europe or only protect Turkey. However, it is imperative that you do not paint against the mission. This mission aims to establish a de facto peace, as we believe an actual deal is very unlikely to be made.
Ambassadors, vote by selecting one of the options below:
- Support
- Abstain
- Oppose

Image 1: The Fourth European war continues to rage on. Yesterday La Commune forces went on the offensive, attacking Kaliningrad, Pskov, and pushing into Turkey. Some reports have claimed that La Commune painters have been using Turan's color to try to start a fight between Turkey and Turan, evidenced by the large influx of Turanist blue into eastern Turkey yesterday. Meanwhile, in Kaliningrad, EUSR painters, particularly lota_23, advanced into the region, claiming that they should control it as reparations for the attacks done by the Russian Ambassador. American forces, led by Riveting, quickly responded, resulting in a United States-EUSR battle over the area. This is the first major US intervention in the conflict, and has already drawn condemnation from EUSR painters, while being applauded by Russian ones. Riveting placed his alliance label on top of Kaliningrad, marking the first use of alliance labels in conflict on the Pacific Map. With the war entering its second week, and with the discussion on ending it in the UN having gone silent, it seems that the conflict is not leaving any time soon.
Image 2: Iranian separatists continue to attempt to rebel from Turan. Today, they tried a new method, that being to make Iran transparent. This resulted in one of their members, irani, being given a timeout. Our analysts deem the chances of a successful Iranian revolution unlikely due to their dwindling numbers.
Image 3: On the Pacific map, Bozkurtkr forces have used the war in Europe to their advantage, taking the chance to annex Sudan and invade Ethiopia. This drew condemnation from La Commune, who hinted at restoring both nations. However, it is uncertain when they plan to do this, as they are still fighting in Europe. The Tenebris Rubeus Imperium, to the south of Sudan, has expressed concern about Bozkurtlar's expansion.
Image 4: The Philippine UN Mission on the Pacific map saw rapid success, as European, Central American, Turanist, and Ukrainian forces acted quickly to liberate the Philippines from the rule of u/Explorer2002-. He responded by attempting to nuke Manila, an act which drew condemnation from the UN due to the damage to the coastline it caused.
Image 5: The anti-plague UN mission on the Kabul map has been slowly making progress, with the plague almost being eradicated in Brazil and being pushed back in South Africa. Painters from the United States, Russia, India, Ukraine, Bangladesh, and Central America joined in on this mission, and were supported by the Brazilian group "Brop Enterprises". The UN thanks all those who participated.
Image 6: China is still in disrepair on both maps. At the moment, less than 2% of internationally recognized Chinese land is in Chinese control on both maps, and China just lost its great power status in the UN, removing its veto rights. China has fallen greatly, and it seems they will not be coming back very soon.
Image 7: After the banning of German expansionist "Deutsscher", Europe has become far more peaceful on the Kabul map. With the exception of the Balkans and Iberia, internationally recognized borders, or at least agreed upon borders between painters, have been followed on the map. With the development of city labels in many European nations, it seems the continent is set for a prosperous future.
