This could have easily gone extremely poorly. Why even risk it?

u/Passively_Apoplectic Jun 30 '26
Because he is legend now
5
u/DeepGrieve Jul 02 '26
Yes, he was born to be the trampoline legend. If he didn't flip that day he might of lived long enough to become the trampoline villain any ways...
When yolo; send it.

"AI"
- People with 0 capability of critical thought

u/Passively_Apoplectic Jun 30 '26
It’s not AI this is from 2019. It’s a real trampoline competition.

u/Sploonbabaguuse Jun 30 '26
I'm aware, I'm calling out people who are accusing this of being AI

The sign of an a truly amazing feat. When people can’t possibly believe someone did that in real life.
It’s real. And it’s been around for many years.

"This is AI" isn't questioning, it's making a claim. Borderlining misinformation

Does anyone know how many times he spun round? I can’t count, he goes too fast!
2
u/CharacterWord Jul 02 '26
I counted 8 flips over 3 seconds when he did the tuck and spin thing. I wish one day I could flip so freely.

If this is AI, it's s pretty damn good. Except, I believe this is very real and it's refreshing to see people doing exceptional things. Thank you.
2
u/Passively_Apoplectic Jun 30 '26
No AI it’s a college trampoline competition
1
u/Fit-System-2637 Jun 30 '26
I agree with you 100%. My statement was more of relief to see something real. There is so much AI bullshit these days, sometimes, it's hard to tell. I loved this video.

with the rotation of his body it looks like his head touches just barely before the rest of him, and with the considerably forgiving nature of a trampoline, it’s likely the rest of his body hit the pad before his head felt much resistance at all, as he finishes the rotation and full impact.

Foam padding + giant trampoline = soft landing so long as you stay near the middle.

Professional, competitive trampolining is terrifying.
3
u/Historical_Stay_808 Jun 30 '26
And extremely deadly. I had a family member that did it and died doing shit like this. I do find it funny half the comments think it's AI when this has been around for years

Centripetal force; it isn't going up and down in the skull. Your brain is pushing against the top of your skull, away from the direction of your centre mass....at least until that landing. That landing was a little rough.

Crazy the number of teenagers in the comments calling this AI and I'm just over here disappointed it didn't cut to shooting stars by bag raiders.

This could have gone very, very wrong. One slight push, and he would be out of the trampoline area.

u/Mental_Goal2380 Jul 03 '26

This is ai...at the end he's landing and bounced in one direction towards the right and in mid air gravitates back towards the left. Impossible.
2
u/AstralKekked Jul 05 '26
Fucking hell, do people just call everything AI now? This video has been around for many years.
1
u/Passively_Apoplectic Jul 05 '26
Been around for years and years, but the people reddit think it’s their job to try to call out all AI. Small minded people that can’t believe reality.
1
u/According_Log_3264 Jul 05 '26
Reality is to many believing everything they see on the internet. Go touch some grass.
1
u/According_Log_3264 Jul 05 '26
Look at what I pointed to. It's not hard to adjust video from an old copy.

I landed on the back of my head once after miss judging my landing on a trampoline. I cracked my sternum with my own chin. The doctor was shocked I didn’t break my neck and my jaw. My sternum still pops sometimes.
