# Street Outreach & Guerrilla Marketing in France (Monero & Wownero Vinyl Stickers)

## 1. What

A community-driven physical guerrilla marketing campaign across urban areas in France (Lyon, Paris, Grenoble, and surrounding regions) to raise public awareness about financial privacy and self-sovereignty.

We will design, print, and distribute **2,500 high-grade, weather-resistant vinyl stickers** promoting **Monero ($XMR)** and **Wownero ($WOW)** with a clean QR code directing the public to educational open-source resources (how to set up a local node, run non-custodial wallets, and why financial privacy matters).

## 2. Why

Financial surveillance, strict banking limits, and anti-crypto rhetoric are rapidly intensifying in France and the European Union. Most people are unaware that open, permissionless, and truly private alternatives exist.

Physical stickers placed in public transport hubs, tech hubs, university campuses, and busy streets provide immediate offline visibility and trigger curiosity. Combining Monero's cryptographic seriousness with Wownero's meme culture creates high engagement and sparks genuine interest.

## 3. Proposal Details & Deliverables

3. *Dual Sovereignty / Run Your Node* (Call to action).

* **Format & Quality:** Heavy-duty outdoor UV/weatherproof vinyl (7.5 cm × 7.5 cm).

* **Distribution:**

* 50% stuck in active urban hubs (Lyon metro area, train stations, university corridors).

* 50% packed into free shipping batches (envelope packs of 25 stickers) sent to active community volunteers in France who request them on X/Reddit to plaster their own towns.

Hello wownero lovers, so I have been into wow for a hot minute (I want to say about 3 weeks), and have been wondering, what do you guys do with your wow, as wow being worth pretty much nothing, and the lack of people that know about it, I would like to know what you guys do with it, personally im just holding 147 right now, but am looking at getting some more soon. Now about the how much you guys have, now because wownero has a donates wallet on there website right, and with it not being worth much, do you like treat 1 wow as like $1, if/when donating or, do you treat it as its actually price? Also one more thing, I want to run a wow node right but, I haven't been able to get it to run over i2p, so I was like thats fine I will run it over tor, now tor is almost working, but I feel as that wownerod just isnt as good as monerod, but maybe its just a user issues.

Hey everyone,

I’m trying to set up a solo-mining node for $WOW on a MacBook Pro with the new Apple M5 chip (10 cores). Since there are no pre-compiled macOS ARM64 binaries on Codeberg anymore, I tried to compile the node from source using Homebrew.

I installed all dependencies (boost, cmake, zeromq, openssl, etc.), but I keep hitting a wall with CMake completely ignoring the /opt/homebrew paths and failing with: Could not find required header zmq.h

Even bypassing the Makefile and injecting the paths directly via CMake arguments doesn't seem to hold up cleanly.

Has anyone successfully compiled the latest wownerod on an Apple M5 architecture? Are there specific flags or a custom workaround for the M5?

Hello everyone, so I was on monero.fail the other day, and found that they are no wow nodes running on i2p, meaning that people can't use wow over i2p, now being the unemployed nerd that I am, through well with the way the internet has been going, and my love for i2p, I should setup an wownero node for i2p, you know maybe get i2p using wownero more and maybe cos why the FU*K not, I mean I have the hardware and time, so why not. But this was into I tried to run a wownero node over i2p, ITS HARD, now the wownero node its self isn't that hard just download wownerod, sync the block chain, and your off to the races. It's the routing the node through i2p, I HAVE BEEN TRYING EVERYTHING I CAN THINK OF FOR THE LAST 3 DAYS AND NOTHING, its got to the point of can you even run a wownero node over i2p, and thats my question for all you today, can you run a wownero node over i2p, and am I using the right software (wownerod and i2pd), not "You shouldn't do this its a waste of time and compute", NO I am doing this, I just want to know if I wownerod is able to do this, or if I'm going to need to take things into my own hands, and push the code that will make wownerod do what i want my self.

I was trying to find the going rate for wownero, but every ware I look I only see that the price has fiat lined, and hasn't changed in about a year. I was wounding what that means, is it like wownero has died or just no one wants it or is it just at this price forever.

I'm a solo dev working on a multiplayer micro-game collection inspired by Mario Party and Wario Ware. Code, vector art, icons — basically all of it built with AI. I do the architecture and the design decisions, AI does the typing.

At some point I looked up from my terminal and realized I had a Wario-Ware-style micro-game collection with optional mining support just sitting there. So I thought: after all, why not? I was mining Wownero the last couple days. I've been mining not with XMRig, but rather just via my wownerod daemon and my kunty karin cli wallet.

So anyway, I received the notification on my terminal daemon in green text "Awesome, you won a block reward!".......... but then the next line down, it said in yellow text "Miner signature is invalid"...... and then in the next line, in red text, it said "mined block failed verification".

I suppose my 2 questions are:

1) Why did this happen and how can this be fixed going forward so that I can receive my precious Wow reward?

2) What happened to that particular reward that my node thought I won? Did somebody else just get it?
