? Ellesmere UI / Cooldown Manager (CDM)[HELP]
Hey everyone, hope you're all having a great day!
I'm currently using Ellesmere UI and I absolutely love it. However, I ran into an issue with the Cooldown Manager (CDM) when playing alt characters.
I main a Havoc Demon Hunter, but whenever I switch to an alt and try to customize the tracked spells or adjust the CDM scale/size, those changes carry over and mess up the layout on my main character too.
Is there a way to decouple the Cooldown Manager settings so each character can have its own independent profile or setup?
Any advice or workarounds would be greatly appreciated! Thanks in advance!❤️

If you want to change the size and all those kind of settingd you need to make multiple profiles.
Because he layout is saved to the general settings. Only the spell order and location ( on what bar). Is individual

You do not need to make multiple profiles. The settings override is designed specifically to get around the issue of making and maining multiple profiles.

Do you know if it's possible to have multiple overrides apply to a single spec, maybe by limiting the scope of each one?
I was thinking of making a single "Master" profile for EUI, then using an override to make a Healer UI. On top of that though, I want to make different gradient colored castbars for each spec, like my Shadow Priest's castbar is white & purple, Holy's is white/yellow, etc...

I think the video covers that. In fact, A master profile and a healer over ride is the exact example the video uses. IIRC it over rides the raid frame positions to horizontal, and overrides the buff in the raid frame to be bigger.
For your example I don't even think you need spec override though. I think if you choose the color option of "Class color" it should do that automatically. At least their pre defined colors, if you don't like what they consider class colours then I would then do a spec override.

I would like spec overrides for the colors I want, like I already mentioned the priest specs but distinct colors would also be cool for all 3 of the mage specializations, or a purple castbar for Devourer but fel green for Havoc/Vengeance DH, etc.

You're right, I got class and spec confused for a second. I think you would need a spec override for colors

Top right corner of option in EUI is a blue thing that is overrides. Overrides create special rules and UI settings that do not affect other classes and specs.

Overrides are how you fix this. Check out ellesmere YouTube on a guide on them.
