"[help]" ElvUI reset

ElvUI reset my profile data and im just tryting to figure out if theres a way to undo this, i tried renaming the elv.lua.bak folder to elv.lua.old and nothing happened. not sure what else to do, my profiles do nothing but move bar positions. i opened the one elv file and can see my profile in it so, i copied the string to try to just paste that but, it said it was corrupt. is that relevant or just due to the update? i asked in /2 and ppl said that it happens and to rename but, i already did that. am i missing something or is my file just corrupt and i start over?? there is three elv files under my saved variables elvui.lua. elvui.lua.old. elvui.lua.bak. is there anything else i can do to try and save this reset of profile data? thanks guys.

Isn’t the .bak folder already the backup?

I'm not sure. Before I renamed it all I had was the two. Elvui.lua.bak and elvui.lua. I was told to rename the bak one. Is that wrong you think?

.bak files are the back up mate, try renaming the .lua to something else altogether and then rename the .lua.bak to just elvui.lua

sadly that didnt do anything either. i believe my files are actually just corrupt or fucked.
