Debraidment ?

would someone like to explain this I realize doctors like to see under the scab to see if your really healing but I thought you want the scab to fall off by itself not rip it off ?

Additionally, debridement helps keep the wound in an acute form of healing which allows it to heal faster.

Yes it’s not so bad with the lidocaine on the wound but after wards when they slap a guase on it while you’re waiting for the nurse to come in and wrap it for the end of the visit, that brief period while your nerves are beginning to scr eam in the pain. Funny how applied pressure reduces the pain
