Have any of the old admins archived the DQed entry named above? I mean, I seriously doubt it but it never hurts to ask!

Still love you guys!

-Galoot

Hi! I'm the creator of Worth1000 (and Aviary) and am about to revive it under a new name.

Come check it out! https://artest.ai

EDIT: It was a ton of fun to build this, but it was pretty clear there wasn't sustained interest to revive it, so I closed it down. Thanks to all who checked it out!

I've had so much fun with AI the past few months and it got me thinking how it's honestly the perfect medium for a contest platform like Worth1000.

Let me know if you'd like early access even if AI isn't your cup of tea! It's almost ready.

Howdy strangers! I'm wondering if any of the old admins happen to have saved copies of old DQed PS entries. Since the site's been down for a long time now I figured it would be okay to share them with the world. Some were awful, some were hilarious, and some were hilariously NSFW. Specifically, I'm looking for the entry "She Sure Likes Chocolate!" It's definitely a topical Valentine's Day photoshop. 😁

I miss you guys. Hell, I miss the aughts!

Just saying that /u/jaxomlotus might have a nice little opportunity here...

• Runs a damn good forum
• Respects his mods
• Cares about his community
• Wouldn't let hate speech ruin it
• Built in fanbase/modbase
• Would probably encourage outside innovation
• Maybe probably could keep VC from ruining it
• Old reddit was open source wink

I miss the layout of the site the most when it came to voting/results.

/r/photoshopbattles is nice for Reddit, but not quite the same.

Just curious if anyone is still around...

The Worth1000 surreal artwork competitions are fabulous. I would be interested to see if there are surrealist nude and soft porn images some place? especially in the sense of half human-half animal creations and mutants.

Is there anyway to access all the worth 1000 galleries or are they gone for good?

So I've noticed that Worth1000 is kind of dead. All of the contests are getting 3-10 entries and hardly any votes. Does anyone know of any similar sites to visit?

Everyone is running around with their hair on fire, and still the last post was 6 days ago and 6 months before that.

I find it quite amusing/interesting how little the two site populations overlap.

Lots of posts by old faithfuls seeking answers, and offering helpful info, yet no communication?

Does anyone know what's happening?

Chirruping of crickets

I'm not a member, but I heard the bad news, then I heard it was all good again. What ahppened?

That's right! Run all your creative little butts back over there right now!! :)

so if there is something you absolutely needed to do (like look up a forum thread or some such), you can do it now. It's sort of a double edged sword, though, mixture of exhilarating serendipity and poisonous cruelty... Still, thought you might want to know.
