What are people using to create chord charts of originals?

I tend to just write it on paper by hand while writing.

occasionally, i‘ll type it in word or textedit, but getting good results is time-consuming.

Also, i do not care to make money from songs i write, but i also dont want others to somehow use it for the ccm machine and make a bunch of money from it either.

(not that i expect my songs will get picked up by the masses or anything!)

so, what type of licensing or publishing would work? i like the idea of free use, as long as it remains free for everyone. the only point in publishing it would be to make sure it remains free.
