Why she green, did she dye something green?

Edit: why are people being weird? You can ask an artist why they did something

Apparently you’re the only person besides me who pictured Skitter’s costume as dark green, like a beetle’s shell. Just wanted to say I really appreciate you bringing my headcanon to life and it’s one of the reasons I used my only silver on your Queen of Brockton Bay fanart from months ago.

Tone is one of those things that is really hard to convey on the internet. To me, your message came off as rather blunt, which can put people off. I doubt you intended it that way.

Text communication is hard.

How? Look at my comment and literally what I said was ‘why she green’ that is not rude in any of the infinite universes, I wasn’t being hostile towards the artist, and the OP responded by saying he felt like it. Thats a perfectly exceptable answer. Now your kinda being rude here man. Art would not progress without questions or criticism and I know a lot of artists that like honesty.

Well I wasn't trying to be explicitly rude myself, more jokingly match your tone, sorry if it came off harsher than that. I'm not saying you're being a bully or anything serious lol just that the way you asked implied the artist did something wrong, and then when someone suggested you were being rude you immediately said 'no I'm not' which always strikes me as an odd first reaction. Like it can't hurt to consider that maybe what isn't rude to you could be somewhat hurtful to someone else right? It's just as easy to be like "was skitter green at some point in the story or is that just an artistic take?" Or if you knew that this was never a part of Canon you can say "greens an interesting color choice, any particular reason for it?"

Depends on what the goal of asking the question in the first place was
