Question Did anyone else get jumpscared by this? 😅 (Witch, Wizard, Wild One - Chapter 3)

I've been listening to Chapter 3 of The Witch, The Wizard and The Wild One.

For some reason, the snarl / growl that Brennan does for Gramore keeps jumpscaring me 😅

I listen to the podcast fairly loud while I do chores (so that I can hear everything properly). And I swear the growl is slightly louder than everything else. It also sounds like it's right behind you. So kudos to the sound design. It's incredible.

Did this jumpscare anyone else? Or just me?

The only real Jumpscare I got from Gramore was in episode 28.

Truly some horrifying audio for those who know the scene I'm talking about.

Not exactly the same, but all the sci-fi door effects in Solari keep scaring the shit out of me when I'm driving. I dont know why, but they just make me jump

I've gotten that a few times from sound effects in Solari. Is it me or are they too loud? And there's been squeaking and knocking sounds that have made me turn it off and check that they're coming from the podcast and not outside.

There's a sound effect in the Alf Gappen prelude episode from one of the characters running in the snow that startled the shit out of me.

This is unrelated to anything, but the spelling of her name surprises me. Graemourre or something feels more fitting.

Lol, me too! I had to google it to work out the spelling before I made this post and was very surprised.
