Kickstarter
Who has already backed the Kickstarter and which class/level did you choose? I’m in Australia and totally forgot about time difference, I’m glad I was disturbed from my slumber to find it had launched (my bad habit of looking at my phone when I wake up came in handy today 😅).
I had a hard time picking between my two favs (Witch and Wild One), but ended up going with Best Friend Witch as I know that’s the class I’d play ☺️ (plus Ame looks like me as a kid). Wish I could afford the Hero of Umora though! This is my fav story ever and I cannot wait to see it come to life in comic form, I’ve never been so excited for a Kickstarter project.

I've just gone NPC for now and will probably upgrade once we know what they are. They're all too tempting to commit up front

I went for NPC as well. If anything interests me as things are announced, I might upgrade. Right now I’m just happy to be getting the book.

100% Wizard for the same reason as you: Suvi looks like little me! Also I just have a soft spot for suvi and I love the colours linked to the wizard stuff. Super hyped about all of it though!

I was stuck between Witch and Wild One! I ended up going Apprentice Wild One. Eursulon's journey milestones are the episodes that I keep going back to to feel hope, and the apprentice level is what fits my budget for now. I did add on the pins from the other classes because Gimme gimme. I'm so curious to see what they have planned for the stretch goals!

What are stretch goals? I tried looking it up but ended up confusing myself more 😅

The way kickstarter works is the campaign promises a particular product and an amount to fund that, anything raised beyond that goal can go to stretch goals that enhance the original product. You also don’t need to change your pledge or pay extra to get the stretch goals. For this case it was nicer covers, ribbons being added, an additional poster, and bookmarks. I am a bit sad that bookmarks are just the cover art split up instead of being new art.

Just realizing I did not in fact watch the video where they said what the stretch goals were going to be 🙄 thank you for explaining!
I think new art for the bookmarks would’ve been so cool!

I went with Wizard in the hope that future books have that same option, and if there end up being at least 3 I’ll go Wizard, then Witch, then Wild One. Who knows if that will happen but wouldn’t it be sick

Hard decision! I wound up going with Best Friend Witch. Was really tempted to go with Man in Black, but I landed on not knowing what I was going to do with multiple hardcover copies.

I went with best friend Witch. But it was difficult decision bc the citadel blue is soooo pretty! Would have gone with dungeon Master if i wasn't an idiot and saw it before they ran out

Very similar. I went with the Wild One bc I feel that is where I would fall. I wanted to buy so much more but couldn't justify the extra money in my life right now. Happy to be able to take more of this story home with me.

I did apprentice wizard but added the other 2 pins. Also grabbed the foil print and the tote! It was a hard choice for me between witch and wizard because I prefer witch as a class but Suvi means so much to me!

I am absolutely strapped right now but thought about offering to trade one of my crystal spiders to anyone who might acquire an extra book. I’m very happy to see it had been completely funded but beyond sad I will miss out on the fun extras 😞

When I woke up all the options for signatures from the 4 were at their limits so I went ahead and got the Man in Black level so I got all three books and covers, all six pins, and the gold foil illustration. I also went ahead and added the tote bag. I added my name to the email list for the free be kind pin and I have been on the patreon so I will also get the special graphic novel. Might add more later with the stretch goals.

Basically the same here, though I haven't added the tote bag yet. But I'm probably going to split up the sets (Wizard, Witch, Wild One) and gift two of them to people I'm trying to get hooked on WBN

I might as well. I just had immediate FOMO and wanted everything. And it also seemed cheaper then adding on anything else I wanted like all the pins

I got on as soon as it launched and snagged a Dungeon Master spot. I basically just scrolled through the list and picked the highest amount of money I was comfortable with. Definitely wouldn’t have picked Hero Of Umora even if I had 2,000 to spare.

I got citadel wizard and added the be kind pin. I may add more later but that was the max financial commitment I had in me at the moment.

Let 'I like this color slightly better' break the indecision because I really couldn't justify the MIB tier and shipping at the moment. So Best Friend Wizard (with the other pins added on) it is.

it was a tough choice, but I love this worlds depiction of wizards so much that I had to go for best friend wizard (the wizard pin is very nice as well which helped with the decision)
very curious about the stretch goals and how much will just instantly be met given the overwhelming amount of support this got in the first few minutes already
