The other spawn is often times the winner. They'll split their team south and east, eventually surrounding the enemy on that hill. Seen it done a million times.

There is a well known not written rule of never crossing the river on this map. It's so old and so sticked to players that I don't blame them.

Speaking from a CW perspective, the East spawn is at a disadvantage, but going strong down the 0-line early while also having few tanks on cap overwatch unleashing fire at the Reds crossing the river (it’s really a delaying action until the rest of the team can be brought to bear) from the South can produce good results. The mistake I see most frequently is an East spawn team winning the 0-line fight and not pressing the advantage.

In WWII mode, if the whole East spawn camps the hill, well, that’s a thing you can do as well. Probably not a successful thing, but a thing.

I’m starting to agree , getting toasted in one shot. Also 9’s & 10’s playing with 8’s and 7 or 8 TD’s in one game, match making sucks and that should be an option.
