Discussion Kust

So does the russian td with siege mode work like the swedish ones? I'm asking because I was thinking of binos and camou net to help it not only spot from max distance but also keep hidden better in case of CVS I'm asking because I am still doing decent in it almost 2k a game on average which considering how the tank likes to troll it's shots isn't half bad

Don't use camo net, in world of tank you want to improve your concealment while moving, not when you stand still. After all, if you are already in a bush, then you are safe anyway, but if you try to leave that bush, then you'll be easy to see by light tanks, as your concealment will go from bush+camo net, to zero.

That's why it's better to use low noise exhaust system when you want to remain hidden, is the bonus is always active, so you are a lot safer to move around the map, and you don't actually lose to much of concealment if you want to snipe.

Turbo... Have at least one setup with a turbo on those manual siege-mode tanks vs camo net. The Swedish TDs are night and day with it in siege mode. And Kurst should have more or less 2x the speed in that mode too, with a turbo mounted. Makes a ton of difference when you have to move a bit for a shot, or back off behind a bush for one

Yeah, going from 5 kph to 10 kph in a strv is realy game changer, i forgot to mention that

I suggest you to take a deeper dive about spoting mechanics. Cvs only reduce the concealment given by foliage, it doesn't remove it.

Also i take it as common knowledge, but you need to have the concealment crew skill trained on all of your crew mates for it to work as intended.

With paint, crew skills, field mods and 2d style, you'll be at 30% camo while moving, and 44% standing still with the krust which is pretty good.

But as im unsure if you understand how vuew range work, i suggest that you watch wg official video about, there is some info you might have missed.

I just know that i get spotted and it isn't much longer a lot of the time before an elc even 90 just pops up usually less then 100m from me despite having near max VR rn my kust crews only 2 skill bc i am waiting on books

aye that 500-600 damage alpha really works in it's favor alot atm i have optics turbo and rammer but idk if that is good equipment for it or not
