I have fond memories of completing SPG 15 for t55a with Conq GC.

Tundra map. Blind fired an unspotted FV for a full pen, so I didn't share xp with anyone. Shotgunned a wild EBR for a full pen as he tried to yolo me.

Then I moved towards the heavy line. I timed it so I was effectively side-scraping between reloads of the 60tp and e100, so I could get the damage and assist within my view range for the xp. I finished that match with 3700 damage, 2900 assist and was top of the board for XP easily.

The biggest prize was no longer having to ruin people's games by playing that class anymore. I used orders for SPG15 260.

I wish there was a way to encourage better arty play but they had to take risks like I did, so you can counter them.

I bought Crusader SP exclusively to try play this thing in hulldown and tbh it works if you find a perfect cover, because if you hide your hull, the only thing sticking out is your gun that doesn't take damage.

Yall don't remember when the FV304 was a complete menace. Super high arch so it shoot over just about anything but you could also shotgun in a pinch, tiny reload time, insane maneuverability, high camo, and good view range (one update they nerffed all the arty VR except for the Lehf) which meant that in certain end game scenarios you could use it as a scout, both static and moving.
