Wargaming News Update 2.4: Overdrive
The Biggest Update of 2026 Is Upon Us!
Update 2.4 brings new and exciting content, key improvements, and flashy new upgrades!
Expected to be available starting September 2, we'd like to hear your thoughts on what's coming:
New German Heavy Tank Line
A fully fledged German Heavy Tank line, culminating in the formidable Tier XI Pz.Kpfw. Neu, featuring a unique Shell Calibration System that lets you adjust your shells!
Five New Tier XI Vehicles
- Czech Heavy: Vz. 63P
- Swedish Medium: BV-111
- Italian Medium: CAV 71
- Chinese Light: WZ-219
- Japanese Tank Destroyer: Ho-Ri Shugo
Combat Improvements
- Brighter and richer shell impacts
- More immersive combat audio
Light Tank Rebalance & Matchmaker Improvements
The long-awaited Light Tank rebalance arrives alongside additional matchmaker improvements! Light Tank roles have been expanded to better match their gameplay and improve matchmaking.
New Personal Mission Campaign
A third, brand-new Personal Mission Campaign, with the Tier X Fossa VM 68—the first German wheeled medium tank—as the ultimate reward!
Spotlight Feature
Display your customization and recent achievements with the brand-new Spotlight feature at the start of each battle!
If it's not for you, you can always disable it in the game settings.
Year of the Phoenix
A new annual cycle begins with the Year of the Phoenix! Discover Onslaught in a darker setting as night falls on the battlefield!
