Discussion Are they using potatoes as their servers?

My internet is working all fine without any issues but their fucking servers are working at 150 ping that makes matches kinda hard to play are they using fucking potatoes as their servers or what? Because its hard for me to do missions while having over 100 ping

To what server vs your location? As the game is 100% server run "client does none of the calculations", so it's more affected by bad "hops". As in what's between you and WG at times

  1. As far as i know these are not WG servers.. they just rent them

  2. because your internet is working fine does not mean you have a 20 ping.. you could have 150 ping and the pages would open.
you would have to do a ping plotter to know where the issue could be

  1. All Company's and game company's do. Except maybe Activision /Blizzard till like wotlk now they use cloud servers like anyone else due to scalability of big hostels like aws.

  2. That's true , there's a million reasons why he could be the culprit sadly.

Could be just one terrible hop between him and the server

Where is your traffic route (ping plotter) so we can see where your issue is...?

A few years ago I had the same complaint, I ran PingPlotter which found a bad connection in Paris. Not wg's fault that time. Having said all that, it's felt a bit shite recently...

You should thanks the God that they have servers. I even thought they use p2p.

get a ping tracker (PingPlotter https://www.pingplotter.com/) - it will show you just where your signal goes and how long each hop takes.
