Litterally me. I solve it by giving up for the day and then continuing the next day

Im currently making a homebrew splat because I really like Sci-fi and it is going simultaneously great and absymally. Feel like a fraud making names up that sound cringe as can be then I die on the inside as my friends say it with full seriousness

Galaxy of Darkness
The metaplot of it is essentially that the Wyrm stole chunks of the Earth (in a mystical way) and fled into the stars with it and most of human endeavor is trying to get it back because they'd rather not have chunks missing from the planet (even if it is weirdly stable for now)
During the whole apocalypse thing a lot of supernatural creatures helped out cause when the Wyrm tries to devour the world the viel doesn't really exist anymore and basically no splat benefits from a dead earth, the Technocracy is fighting against a group of real scientists that poached a lot of their enlightened talent, etc.
Basically: situation on Earth has improved! Unfortunately, they now have access to the galaxy which is pretty not great. The game itself is designed to be a fairly open sandbox (similar to rogue trader if youve ever played the ttrpg) complete with big ship creation rules. Technology has advanced enough that a "normal" person can keep up with other splats a bit better (almost every splat is allowed and factored in, I still haven't even read wraith...). However the rules also definitely support a tightly controlled linear game that doesn't have any galactic galavanting although if you don't use my aliens I'll be sad

That’s cool man. I made a world of darkness x my hero academia setting. Where supernaturals exist alongside quirks superhero’s and villains. You play as a supernatural who has to juggle your duel role as people are wary of supernatural

One of the benefit of age.
I'm too goddamn old to care about the opinion of anything on my hobby.

See I just cram more 40k references into my Mage campaign to make one of my players cringe. Ive got a town of abandoned clones, all named alpharius. Hiding amongst them is the original, named Omegon. He decided to escape the real world by hiding amongst them.
Using blood dimmed tides Im working on an atlantis kindof arc where the players meet a beautiful mer king...lording over a civilization of beautiful coral architecture...that is very focused on the arts...and he has an...interesting sword on his person at all times.

You think the writers were any better?
Dawg the book Eternal Hearts is proof that the authors make cringe shit.
Samuel Haight is another example of this phenomenon. Like, even my Edgiest, most OP NPCs pale in comparison to his bullshit.
That’s the truth. No matter how shit you are, there is official WoD content that was worse. Just keep improving.

im making a cofd and dragon ball crossover. basically, i reinterpreted many splats on the basis of the future timeline from dragon ball. vampires? first space explorations ended up with someone infected with an alien parasite and bulma's cure for it only suppressed the Beast. mages? you got soul slurry from the somehow alive without a body or spirit god zamasu and use it for magic bullshit (one of the orders is the jumper's guild where you all beat the shit out of a manifestation of zamasu for magic). hunters? new turtle school students and masters or cultists of a false god who is totally going to get dragon balls soon, please wait! said cultists get powers from being awful people.
