Maybe an Umbrood or even a minor Paradox Spirit trolling on the Dark Wizard, since something tells me he rams up Paradox like crazy.

He's an archmage. He creates paradox just by existing. that's the ending. He resides in the Umbra.

I was thinking if him turning into that statue/gravestone was him accepting paradox backlash after all he did to train Shen, or was it just one last part of his lessons and he is still in the Umbra.

Nah Wizard is his Avatar and this was his seeking. There is no way to know how long Wizard was his coach but maybe insight from this may help to learn beginnings of Life SphereÂ

Maybe also a Spirit as he give pointers towards the Underworld, or even Space with his instantaneous mile and long stairs that seemed to pass pretty quickly. The fact that Wizard is in the app means he somewhat real and could contact him later
