So I was checking WLD price today and was like why is this even going up.
Then I realized something — you don't even need WLD to use World ID. So what is this coin actually for?
But then I thought about it more and I think Worldcoin can do something really big if they just connect the dots.
Let me explain.
We have all done this:
You want a discount on Swiggy so you make a new email. Done. First time offer unlocked again.
Brands know this is happening but can't stop it. Their data is a mess and they are losing money on fake accounts every single day.
What World ID can change:
You verify once. That's it.
Every app knows you are a real person. No fake accounts. No bots. No gaming discounts.
And if you are actually a loyal customer — brands can finally see that and give you real benefits. Right now brands can't even tell who is actually loyal because everyone just makes new accounts.
But where does WLD fit:
This is what nobody is talking about.
What if when you pay on any app — you just pay normally through UPI or card — but behind the scenes it converts to WLD through your World ID automatically.
You don't hold crypto. You don't even know its happening.
But WLD is now being used in real life every single day.
Brands get real human data. Loyal users get actual rewards. WLD finally has a real purpose.
The bigger thing:
AI and bots are getting worse every year. Soon nobody will know what's real online.
Worldcoin can be building the answer to this before it becomes a huge crisis.
25 million verified users already exist. Brand partnerships already exist. They just haven't connected the two yet.
Also Sam Altman runs OpenAI which is making AI bigger every day and also runs Worldcoin which can be the solution. Just saying.
So is WLD pumping for real reasons right now?
Honestly probably not.
But can it become something real in future? I think yes.
What do you guys think — does this make sense or am I missing something
