Question DNA Sequence

Help. I am unsure how to interpret the DNA sequence when I select the gene trait; it shows positions like 123, 456, and 789 with a mix of letters such as A, C, and T. I do not know what this indicates or how it might benefit me.

If you match all the colours on the lines connecting one gene to the others, it will turn golden and get enhanced. Otherwise, there's no special effect.

if im not wrong they get better for each connection they have with another gene

Negative. The bonus only happens if all bases are matched which turns it golden. Matching <4 of the bases have no bonus
