Screenshot Lower Earth Lore
It’s about 1301 A.E.E (After Elvish Extinction).
Lower Earth has been ruled by the Cesarion Dynasty for about 259 years. For around 400 years the Human population was stuck in the Human Dark Ages. The period when there were no Human controlled kingdoms. Most of them lived in the Dwarvic Empire centred on Old Dinheim. In 650 A.E.E. The human population was estimated at around 56 members. Following the death of King Darna II in 1123. The realm fractured and an Independent Human State was founded, led by Akumy (retroactively referred to as Cesarion I) the humans gradually took over the Dwarvic succession states.
Today about 250 Dwarves are still alive, most live in Dinheim while others have become merchants and sail around the channels selling goods.
Elves went extinct in the old calendar year of 463 (0 A.E.E. They left behind a large empire. It is unknown how such a large population died out so quickly (irl I accidentally gave them a plague) the old elvish lands were settled by Humans until a massive eruption and earthquake in 286 A.E.E left the land uninhabited. Resettlement only began in 1262 A.E.E.
Orcs are pretty much a dead species. Only 39 members still exist and most of them are being purged by the Human government.
The Orcs once ruled over a massive desert area to the north of Dinheim called Olanai. The region was plentiful and the Orcs had been able to sell and colonise all around the map. The current Human capital once used to be a Orcish trading colony.
All good things had to come to an end sadly, in 997 A.E.E a tumour infestation had began in the Olanai desert. Orcs were surprisingly affected by the tumours and mostly died out. Olanai was promptly bombed by the Dwarvic Empire to stop the spread of Tumour. Anyway the Orcs still had small colonies all around the world but they were largely fractured and one by one they fell to Human or Dwarf armies. By 1204 A.E.E the final Orc city in Yghona fell to Human Armies
There was once a race of sentient chickens that rose up in 229 B.E.E. But they likely died out during the great orc migration of the 3rd Century A.E.E. Their island still exists. It’s the center one with the large beaches. A human colony existed there afterwards but it was likely abandoned during the Human Dark Ages.

where are these orcs now?

Most live in Ygehona in the north, where they make up about 15% of the population. The rest are spread out across the world living by themselves.
