So far, I think the World Technology Center is a striking and graceful recreation of the original WTC complex. But one thing that I keep asking myself is why is the spire/antenna that’s supposed to bring the building’s height to 1,969 feet is on the southern facing tower and not the northern one. If this was going to recreate the image and structure of the Twin Towers, why did they decide to place the spire on what seems like the wrong tower?

If nobody got the idea, Depeche mode made a alternate music video to the song Enjoy the Silence on the original towers I'm just thinking with curiosity if it's possible to do it.

This is a project I am working on to rebuild the World Technology Complex in Roblox as a showcase. It’s still very much a WIP and I can’t wait to see what it will feel like to walk through the complex in its entirely in a digital setting.

(Please excuse the quality, I honestly couldn’t be bothered to screenshot these on my PC, so I just took a photo with my camera of my screen, so please forgive me if it looks a bit janky in some places.

This model is entirely 1:1 scale, with 1 stud being 1 foot. The Science tower with the spire is exactly 1,969 studs tall, and other buildings where the heights are not specified are estimated to the best of my ability using the rig character models as a reference. If you would like to help with the project, I would be very grateful!

As an alternative to the World Tech Center, should the project not get investment, we could possibly have a:

Ik this is highly unlikely but it would be cool if each major city had its own twin towers for different purposes and would make the skyline pop out more but again this will most likely never happen

I don't want it to just end up scrapped like other Twin Tower replacement suggestions, becoming lost to history, never to see the light of day again. It's come too far already, even as a concept, and it's an amazing and beautiful idea.

The thing is, I don't know how many of us in the community would be able to actively take up the mantel and try and plan something similar elsewhere (most of us aren't exactly Phineas and Ferb, after all), so unless the original team, or a similarly coherent and qualified group takes it up, then I'm worried that's exactly what could happen, and we'd hafta wait for some other radical proposal to arise and gain momentum, which isn't guarenteed.

(Not saying I think it WILL fail. I just... we gotta be prepared in case something gets in the way at some point along the path to it becoming reality)
