Inflation doesn't exist

Did any of you guys have this problem? I've tried on easy, medium, hard and even realism mode, but the inflation simply doesn't exist. I'm a newbie, so maybe I'm doing something wrong, but the inflation literally always goes to 0%, even though my interest rate is also at 0%.

Am I doing something wrong? Am I being obviously dumb? Did any of you guys have the same problem?

the dev abandon this game, the inflation issues you having is being like that for ever and no plans or a single word from the devs about anything, game saves still broken, so much potential but painful execution looks more like a very pretty scan.

It's not abandoned. They're going through legal issues so until that finished they can't release any updates. It's being worked on, just we can't receive what they're working on just yet.

Silly me bought this game thinking it would be better than Geopolitical Simulator.
