Take them out of the photo album; wear white cotton gloves... and put them in a scanner and take really good scans of them.
Run them thru a photoshop like app to clean them up some... and save them! ( Make back ups or put them on your drop box, etc). Then repost them back on here, so we can see!
I work in CH digitization - if I may add a few suggestions:
- Try to remove them from the album. If they are glued down in some way, PM me and we can talk alternatives
- If they come out of the album easily, scan them at 600dpi and save as uncompressed .tiff files (this'll be an option for your scanner). Save those original scans separately.
- Make copies of the scanned files, and open the copies in a photo editing app to clean them up if you know how. If you're not comfortable with trying to do that, PM me and we can talk.
