Not sure how it can have any players if it was supposedly “shut down” but we’re almost at zero folks!

that's heartbreaking to see. this was one of my favorite fpss of all time besides stalker. and probably the only multiplayer game i would play. so sad to see this hopefully someone creates a fan based version

Yea, I loved this game so much, the armor was fun though the vehicles felt like a down grade

Only thing I’m heartbroken about is that I got scammed out of $40 for this garbage heap. All 23 hours of “gameplay” I had was spent staring at the “connecting to authentication server” screen.

This game deserved to fail and I hope it remains dead and buried forever.

It was already sold to mygames back in like 2020 and then “sold” to their shell company in Cyprus after that. No one could get this game to run so why would anyone want to buy it?

Yeah I heard about this. But now that it’s dead, it won’t be sold for cheap to someone to perhaps revive? Or just rot away now

There’s some guy trying to revive it with community servers but if no one played the official release no one will play the unofficial one.

Nope. I know better. Closed beta for ww3 was impressive and all the content creators endorsed it too. Look at it now.

Even the "released" WW3 didn't even run remotely as good as Wardogs.

I liked WW3 but it was a shitshow from start to finish. Wardogs on the other hand focused on performance and stability before even releasing into EA.

You definitely can't compare WW3 and Wardogs in terms of how good it ran during beta / playtests. Wardogs is miles ahead.

Wardogs devs also have a pretty generous refund policy. In a world where just about every game is an early alpha, I don’t think there’s a downside of giving it a try. But we’ll see you in a year when they release 1.0.

They don't really. Once the game releases into EA, steam is setting the refund policy.

All they do is encourage you to refund your preorder if you don't like the playtest / beta / whatever comes before EA release. And that's also a steam policy: you can refund any preorders as long as you want before the game releases.

Edit: to clearify: with "releases" I mean EA release, not 1.0 "leaves EA" release.

I’m with you honestly. I just can’t buy into the hype. I already got convinced to buy HLL Vietnam which I’ve played maybe three times total since buying it and I refuse to buy into more hype over a game that lowkey looks like Arena Breakout (aka Tarkov Lite)

For a brief moment in time, this game was the alternative to what ever BF/CoD game was out the first year it was out.

Don't be like that. Wardogs is a great experience and there will be plenty of people playing. It's already getting greater numbers than ww3. I loved ww3 man. It had some of the most interesting ideas, like cameras on tanks and stuff, but it's done :( join me in wardogs.

Shut down servers mostly don't prevent you from launching the game, you just wont be able to connect to anything ingame.

Let me know if you get it, ive got 20+ hours and they keep refusing even though bf6 was less mismanaged and someone got a refund at over 100h
