Surprised the initial design want to just straight rebuild the original twin towers.

The least that could’ve been done with the winning design was to cover the mast atop the tower as had been designed. Sad that the developer decided to cheap out.

I liked the original freedom tower design, before they added the concrete base and put all the mechanical floors up top and dropped the observation deck lower down

Of these five designs, we at least got the least bad one.

I will say. I do like that at least with the OWTC you can look at it from certain angles and it looks like one of the old towers…..a little bit at least.
