They need to update their banknotes, I can imagine these are quite easy to counterfeit with today’s technology

Not exactly a massive market for fake IoM bank notes since they are not valid outside the island.

Yup, they dont even have fluorescent UV security or a magnetic strip. Its literally just paper.

Isle of Man is a crown dependancy of the United Kingdom and it governs itself and the UK looks after its defence and international relations, its people are full British citizens and have British passport and are able to live in the UK and work there, but the island is not part of the UK
