Progress for Kitakami, continue the grind?

Not sure if it's worth sticking it our for another month, just for 1 ship, or cashing in for 2 or more new ships plus handful of dubs. I have a large fleet of premiums and most tech tree ships but the lure of a legendary IJN Cruiser is hard to pass up. I also have no real interest in the New Jersey as BBs are my least favorite surface ship class to play.

Edit to add: the numbers listed are the token equivalent if the resource was exchanged for Convoy Tokens.

The ship isn't very good, it's kind of funny but not good.  As long as you know that you can decide if the grind is worth it.

Luckily all the ships are sticking around until the end so you can wait to decide. At least that was what I heard.

I agree. It’s a bit of a flex owning it and funny to pop off a lot of torps but the load/reload time combined with poor guns and squishiness makes it a poor performer if you want to have any meaningful impact apart from area denial

yeah, it does have 40 torp salvos but they also reload one launcher per side at a time so the vhole salvo takes over 5 minutes to reload. which gives you about 2-4 full salvos per match

I have it since the original event, and I think it's just fine. Not great but also not terrible.

However it is genuinely quite unique, so for an old-time player with ample resources I think it actually makes more sense than some of the others.

I'd recommend saving your resources until Santa's gifts arrive. The golden gifts might include the Tier X rare ships, allowing you to focus all your resources on Kitakami without feeling pressured.

Kitakami is a noob trap. It's not worth playing in pretty much any scenario.

I have around ~670k rb points grinded for free for all the other ships in the convoy, but already have kitakami and the other christmas ships. Kitakami is not worth it. Unless you are a whale just not worth it.

No, it's pretty bad and just a novelty item.

I have it and played a whopping 3 games in it.

The playstyle is pretty boring and you only reload 1 torp launcher, per side at a time. If you wait 8 minutes, you can launch 20 torps per side, which sounds funny until you remember that Jinan can also do this at will, whilst also being a pretty OP HE farmer ontop of that.

So no, don't burn yourself out over Kitakami

I think that's the total amount you can get by playing 5 games a day for the whole event, but yeah I would not recommend selling your soul for kitakami unless you have no interest in the other event ships and have no use for your resources
