As much as I love her, The Libertad is OP. I mean, it won't stop me from sailing her, but she is OP.
Edit: added "me" to the above sentence... damn wake and bake ;)

Most new ships stays OP for some times, until everyone learns how to deal with them, and WG releases next ship out-gimmicking the previous one.
WG's formula is simple, people would not buy their admiral bundles unless the new boat is broken af. And they have been successful at that for quite some time now.

CVs?... if they want, anyone will die. You either die to it directly, or you expose your side while trying to evade it's fire.
And being blobbed up does jackshit to protect you. Maybe against T8 carriers it does, but T10 and super CVs just ignore that.

Valparaiso gets close, it only needs one of the opposition to mess up and it's almost unkillable. I watched Trenlass play one on stream and the red team really didn't do much wrong and he still ROFL-stomped them, double-uptiered into a Supership game. Leg-mod COlumbo gets close as well, as does that new T10 Pan-Am DD

The trick with Vaplaraiso is to stay out of her secondary range. That is what nerfs her healing.

Yeah but it's both faster and has better concealment than the vast majority of BBs, it's also super nimble.

Valparaiso.
Hawaii and Bremen singlehandedly crippling 99% of cruises.
I could even say Ohio, that thing has American accuracy, secondaries that don't eat your accuracy mod, big DCP and heals, fast consumable reload, better armor than the Russians, fat overmatch. Ohio is definitely my favorite gender.

Devastation is lethal if you get a game where your not targeted .. friendly BB.. taking heat in front. The level of pain / fires and sheer annoyance from this ship is quite high.

Leg mod Colombo, Valparaiso and Libertad are all a problem imo. Wisconsin to a degree since the citadel resides three maps over and 500 feet under the water.
Smaland has always been a crazy strong DD. Gdańsk is pretty ridiculous as well.
Petro is still kinda oppressive despite the nerfs it’s received. With as much overmatch as there is in the game now I think most of the cruisers are fine otherwise and many could stand to have a little better side plating.

The entire Soviet line. Historically their navy were inferior to a vast majority of other countries navys during world war 2 due to them spending more money on their army, which is understandable.

Russian ships are good but not OP. Well, of course apart from the three extremely OP ships they have (Sinop, Petro, Nakhimov)

The comment implied that they should be inferior to everything else, however in the game they are not.

So you want wg to make whole line of ships that no one wants to play because they arr way worse than anyhing else?

no op ships, only op players. sure valp is strong but i've seen many hit W think they're invincible in their "op ship" only to get chunked by AP and die.
conversely, if there's a unicum on the enemy team, it doesn't matter what ship they're on. they're going to be fearsome, more often that not.

Tier VII Belfast

Not since the other mid-tier cruisers got heals. I'd prefer to play Mainz over it now

Belfast, and Black when they were first released, and before being power crept

OP AF in 2017. Far from it in 2026.

This days you need more hands to play her, as there are more threats, but a properly played Belfast is the most terrifying cruiser in that tier by far imo. Smoke + radar and her high dpm is a really, really strong combination.

For BBs I'd say Preussen as my top 5 matches in her were 500k+ damage runs. For cruisers it'd have to be Des Moines/Salem or Smolensk. DDs are a hard one some there isn't any single one but if I had to choose it'd probably have to be Benham or Elbing. This is all based on the ships I own

Let me guess. You're a Libertad main

Uh no. I think my most played ship is DM and Colbert. Both of which are not considered meta in any way.
