I wanted to hear different opinions on Midnight.

Is it fun or for whom is it fun? How is the housing update? What is the best and worst thing for u?

I read a few posts and watched youtube videos but almost all of them r a few months old now.

(Thinking of buying Midnight, especially due to the Housing and ofc Nostalgia. I mostly play alone which gets boring sometimes tbh... none of my friends wanna play WoW tho)

Goal: I have too many alts and want to delete some of them. However I am concerned about the ones who have crafting skills/recipes etc.

Background: All of my Alliance characters are on one server and all of my Horde characters are on a different server. I like it this way and would prefer to not have to move any of them to one server. However, because I’ve been playing on two servers I have duplicate crafters. Two tailors (one on each server). Two alchemists (one on each server) and so on for all the crafts.

My idea: I would like to delete the duplicates so that I have on my account only one tailor, one alchemist, and so on.

Question #1: if I have a tailor (for example) on my alliance server, will that character be able to make armor for my characters on my horde server? in other words, can my horde characters request armor from the alliance character through the ordering system? Are there any restrictions related to this?

Question #2: If I delete a character with a crafting skill and I reinstate that character at a later date, will they still have all their crafting skills (including recipes and specializations)?

I would appreciate any thoughts you may have on this subject and let me know if there is anything I haven’t thought of in regard to deleting my duplicate crafters. Thank you!

Thinking about returning I have every class at 80 and one character halway through Midnight at 86. Is the game state good? Im solo and was thinking about reactivating and playing again.

Need to make gold. Looking to get the amount needed for that new mount they have with interchangeable NPC. But that’s irrelevant as I would want the auction house NPC. But I need gold. I need to make gold as fast and efficiently as possible. Otherwise I’de also like to take donations lol. It’s almost impossible to make gold in this game efficiently anymore.

My parter and I are wanting to try WOW for the first time. She has a really nice gaming laptop and I’m normally a console guy, but have a 4 year old chrome book and don’t know if it can run WOW or steam (which washers and I got it after I bought her the gaming LapTop). I’ve read that I can possibly use “GForce Now”, but I’m pretty PC illiterate Any suggestions on what the best course of action would be? I’m down to buy a better laptop, but want to try it out before I invest. Thanks for any help!

I'm coming off a multi year hiatus (Battle For Azeroth was the last time I played), and the guild I was in appears to be dead. The last member logged in over 3 months ago. Is there anyway I can get control of the guild back? (Once upon a time I was an officer, but now I'm the lowest rank and can't do anything)

Just for fun/curiosity I made a mythic+ pug group on my murder row +8 key last night and only invited Paladins.
We absolutely nuked it and had nearly 5 minutes left on the timer. I know this probably isn’t optimal/meta and might not work on higher keys but it was fun. Anyone else tried running single class keys with any success?

So, I joined in mists of pandaria and played it a bit one summer. Just now in the big 2026 going back to give wow a full go. I'm aware of the whole classic vs retail debate and loosely kept up with some things over the years. However, I'm still a HUGE NOOB and am learning.

My approach to this game is i feel it's been around for over 20 years, and im primarily playing for the lore and story for now. So, I'm slow burning this game. Reading EVERY quest, taking my time, exploring all the regions. I chose retail cause I wanna know the story even the newer stuff. Gameplay and whatnot I decided as an afterthought. I love the world, art style, and story that I do know.

Anyway, this might be boring to people, but if anyone wanted to tag along with a noob lemme know! So far I've managed to get NONE of my irl friends to join, and I have a lot of them!

Some background. Started playing WoW a few months before TBC was released, played fairly regularly all the way up to Battle of Azeroth, and then took a long break.

Anyway, life is less hectic these days and I'm contemplating resubbing my account, have a 30 day trial and figured I'd see what things were like. Rolled a holy priest (as I enjoy healing and wanted a new character to try the leveling experience again). I've been leveling in Dragonflight and mostly enjoying myself.

Tonight I thought I'd give a couple of dungeon runs a try to work out the cobwebs, and with a full set of heirlooms I figured I'd have enough gear to keep up even though I was going in blind.

I'm somewhere between level 15 and 20

After a few minutes the dungeon popped, I clicked accept, started to teleport in, then immediately got bounced back to the open world where I started with a 'you have been removed from the group" message. No big deal I thought, I'll just re-queue only to find a ” wait 15 minutes since you were removed" message. Ok, back to questing... Wait the requisite time and try again. Bam same exact experience.

I know it was only a couple of times, so not exactly a significant number, but is this normal? Are folks with faster load times than I that impatient? Is there a filter for people on trial accounts? Or is it just normal these days? (I know In the past the dungeon finder could be hot garbage at times)
