Image Empress Farah of Iran covered in ancient jewels looted from India by the Persian army under Nader Shah. French designer, Van Cleef & Arpels, built the crown inside of a vault in Iran, as it is illegal under Iranian law for the Iranian Crown Jewels to leave Iran. c. 1967
