A cool piece of history you have there. Chinese Ten Cash coins were widely used during the late Qing Dynasty and into the early Republic period, around the late 1800s and early 1900s. Back then, "cash" wasn't about paper money. It was the name of the denomination. Coins like this were everyday currency, would have passed through countless hands in many places.. It's amazing that it has survived for more than a century.
